Great to see so many kids out at the State Track Championships at Perth SpeedDome on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They gave it everything, made some new friends and had lots of fun in the process, racing flying 200, match sprint, points race, scratch and pursuit. So proud of everyone that took part :)

Annual Training Plan – £120
Personalised Annual Training Plan (as used by the Great Britain cycling team) – periodised training plan set out with a different focus for each 4-5 week block, carefully tracking your recovery & adaption to training so that you reach your peak performance for target races or events. Depending on your particular events these focus components may include strength & flexibility, aerobic endurance, muscle power, short term muscular endurance, nutrition, motivation etc.
We’ll prepare an annual training plan for you, breaking up the year into weeks with varying goals, traning intensities and training volume and working on different component of fitness, leading into your races.
French Alps Training Camp – from £475pp pw
Join like minded people for a week of training in a social environment with top coaching and video feedback, sports massage to help you recover, a bike mechanic, sports dietitian and a chef. Our sister company 45 Degrees North has been organising weeks in the mountains for cyclists and triathletes for 6 years and its getting some great feedback from guests. They also have winter breaks for some off season cross training

Introduction to Coach Chris
In March 2015 Chris completed a 9,000km+ self supported cycling trip between Turkey & Australia, which involved cycling over the 2nd highest road in the world, the Pamir Highway & my highest mountain pass to date at 4,655m (on a 20kg bike with 20kg of luggage)!
Like many people Chris really loves cycling but is also really passionate about coaching & getting the best out of people. Chris believes in giving everyone a chance, in working with different needs & aspirations, putting each rider at the centre & running fun, social and progressive coaching sessions. Chris work with youth riders in cycling clubs, youth development teams, women’s teams & individuals.
Just like his riders, Chris wants to be the best he can be & so he’s constantly learning from others, connecting with other coaches, reading blogs and books & taking workshops. As part of Chris’ coach development he spends some time each year working with the track development team at the Western Australian Institute of Sport in Perth. He’s also a volunteer coach at Track Cycling WA’s youth track sessions, held at the Speed Dome, Perth.
When Chris is in the UK he love to coach track at the London Olympic Velodrome. Chris still gest a buzz every time he walks under the boards & sees the smile on people’s faces when they get to ride track for the first time!
